The research camp is located 2,5 km away from the small village Batuputih right at the beautiful beach.
The main house "Pos 3" It includes the houses "Pos 2", "Pos 3" and the so called "BBC House", which can host 4, 3 and 5 students, respectively. Each house has its own bathroom and gets electricity from solar panels.

Fresh water is delivered by a pump from a well. "Pos 2" lies 300 m away from the other houses and has its own well.
The "BBC House" In the main house "Pos 3", there is a working room, a kitchen and a dining room. Outside, there is a washing and barbeque place. A cook is responsible for breakfast, lunch and dinner and cleaning of common places.
